Freelance Journalism

Over the past decade I have written, analyzed and spoken about some of the region’s biggest stories.

As a business writer I covered the growth of Atlantic Canada’s oil and gas sector, the deregulation of electricity, the turmoil in the forestry sector and the merger of the region’s four telecommunications companies and the ensuing changes in the region’s ICT sector.

For four years, I was a political affairs columnist, for which I won an Atlantic Journalism Award. During this time I was a member of the Friday political panel on CBC Radio’s Mainstreet in New Brunswick. I was also a correspondent with Time Canada and I have appeared on CBC Newsworld’s Politics with Don Newman, CBC Morning, Radio Canada International and Canada AM.

Recently, my freelance work has appeared in a number of Canadian daily newspapers, including the National Post, the Ottawa Citizen, the Montreal Gazette and the Vancouver Sun.
